Shipping Information
We ship our heirloom seeds and plants worldwide (excluding some Asian and remote regions) using two reliable methods:
Standard Shipping
- Carrier: DHL or FedEx
- Cost: $12.95 USD
- Delivery Time: 10-15 business days after shipment
Free Shipping
- Carrier: EMS
- Requirements: Orders over $50 USD
- Delivery Time: 15-25 business days after shipment
Order Processing: All orders are carefully packed and shipped within 1-2 business days.
Gardener’s Tip: For temperature-sensitive seeds like Beans or Beets, plant promptly or store in a cool, dark place upon arrival.
Our 15-Day Growing Guarantee
We stand behind our seeds like we stand behind our compost—100%. If your order doesn’t meet expectations, you may request a return or exchange within 15 days of delivery.
Non-Returnable Items
To protect our global garden community, we cannot accept returns on:
- Opened seed packets (Amaranthus, Agrostemma/Corn Cockle, etc.) due to agricultural regulations
- Live plants (Artichokes, Asparagus crowns) for biosecurity reasons
- Personalized seed collections (like our butterfly garden sets)
How to Cultivate Your Return
1. Prepare Your Package
- Securely repack items in their original containers where possible
- For damaged items (like Ammi or Artemisia seed packets), include photos of the damage
2. Send Your Request
Email our Garden Support Team at [email protected] with:
- Your order number
- Photos of any damaged items
- Whether you prefer replacement seeds or refund
3. Ship Your Return
Once approved, send to:

When Your Refund Will Sprout
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Credit Card/PayPal Refunds: Processed within 3 business days, appearing in 5-10 business days depending on your financial institution
- Store Credit: Issued immediately as a digital gift code—perfect for trying that Ammobium or Atriplex variety you’ve been eyeing
- International refunds may take additional 2-3 business days to process through cross-border banking systems
Exchange Planting Instructions
For exchanges (perhaps those Angelica seeds weren’t right for your zone?):
- Follow the same return process above
- In your email, specify which varieties you’d like instead (check our current availability at vegherbseed.com)
- We’ll ship your new seeds within 2 business days after receiving your return
